Traveling from the Sacramento area: Drive east on Interstate 80 toward Reno. At Truckee, turn north at exit 188B onto Highway 89. Continue on Highway 89 through Graeagle. Turn right onto Highway 70 toward Portola. Chalet View Lodge is just 5 miles ahead on the right hand side.

Traveling from the Reno area: Drive north on Interstate 395 toward Susanville. Exit at Hallelujah Junction onto Highway 70. Chalet View Lodge is 4 miles west of Portola on the left hand side.
